Our library recently welcomed a Patrick Carman event to our students. From the time that I showed the videos of Mr. Carman’s books, the students were hooked! The presentation about writing was wonderful: it was kid-friendly, funny, and concise, which helped the kids to easily understand and remember the advice. Within one week of this presentation, nearly 20% of our students purchased Patrick Carman books, and their expressions of excitement as I handed their copies of the book to them were priceless!
