 IMPORTANT ACTOR INFORMATION

If you’re already acting or auditioning for YOU’RE NEXT, please review everything on this page. Time sensitive updates appear in the first section.

CURRENT UPDATES

Please complete a test with Reece at your earliest convenience. You can contact Reece via text message at 509-200-9514.

Please consider joining practice sessions via Zoom meeting as a group. Reece will be scheduling these events at various upcoming times and she will notify you a day or two ahead of time.

We have not settled on a day and time for the shoot yet, but plan to have that ironed out by Monday, April 6th. If you have blocks of time that work best for you, please let Reece know using the text number above.

SOCIAL MEDIA CAMPAIGN

You’re Next marketing will roll out starting on April 13th. Please use the approved You’re Next images to spread the word about the project you’ll be appearing in. All marketing material is optimized for Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, Snapchat, and Tik-Tok. We will add social media video files when the shoot is complete.

IMPORTANT PROJECT DETAILS

You’re Next is a hybrid project where half of the story is told in words or audio files (user choice) and half is told through videos. All videos are Zoom meetings, which will be recorded in real time with our actors. Post production on videos will add paranormal activity, audio effects, etc.

The total run time for all five videos combined is about 10 minutes. We expect to shoot all actor material in one session that will last between 2 and 4 hours.

Upon reviewing the project files, you’ll find that no actor appears in more than 3 videos, and some appear in only 2 videos. We would still like to have all actors in the Zoom meeting for the entire shoot in order to get feedback or make changes on the fly. There will be ample time to do as many takes as we need for each video, but please do fully memorize your part.

SETTING UP YOUR CAMERA

Put the computer up on a stack of books so the camera is slightly higher than your head. Say, about the top of your head. And then point it down into your eyes. Then take a tall lamp and set it next to the computer on the side of your face you feel is best. The lamp should be in line with and slightly behind the computer so the light falls nicely on your face. Then put a piece of white paper or a white tablecloth on the table you are sitting at but make sure it can’t be seen in the frame. It will give you a bit of fill and bounce. And use a background that’s not too boring!

SCREENPLAY / EBOOK FILE

Please read all You’re Next material before committing to the project. Total read time will be less than one hour, and it’s important to know the full story.
